Giffard, as a dedicated producer of liqueurs and syrups, is proud to welcome you in the heart of its production site. This visitors’ center is dedicated to the history and know-how that are the trademarks of our family business, and is designed to help our guests discover the sort of magic that turns fruit into liqueur. The center offers glimpses of history and sensorial discoveries and is aptly named after the liqueur that gave the Giffard brand its enduring fame.
As an independent, family-owned business founded in Angers in 1885 the relocated in Avrillé since 1972, the Giffard company is emblematic of the Anjou region.
Open all year round, Espace Menthe-Pastille celebrates the Giffard know-how. It is divided into three areas – historical, cultural and sensorial – and takes you on a guided tour of the factory, starting with fruit delivery, then processing and maceration, and finally bottling.
