Independent and family-run, created more than 130 years ago and established in Avrillé in 1972, la maison Giffard is an iconic business of the Pays de la Loire region.
Today, opening its production site to the general public, Giffard is part of the tradition of liqueur manufacturers born in Anjou in the 19th century.

Open all year round, the Menthe-Pastille Space celebrates the savoir-faire of la maison Giffard. It revolves around three pillars: historical, cultural and sensory, and offers tours in the production workshop; from the arrival of the fruits to the bottling through the processes of treatment and maceration of the fruits.
To complete the discovery, go to the scent bar and the cocktail bar for tasting flavors and recognizing scents. For the pleasure of the senses, both visual and gustatory, visitors are also invited to discover the cocktail recipes created by la maison and its partner bartenders.

Evening cocktail workshop
Giffard and la Maison des Vins d’Anjou et de Saumur come together to offer you a cocktail creation workshop. Meet in the center of the city of Angers at la Maison des Vins d’Anjou et de Saumur.
In the program
- Discovery of sparkling wine appellations from the traditional method and from the Giffard company.
- Cocktail lessons on three recipes combining the must-haves of the liquorist and the fine bubbles of the region.
- Tasting of your creations around some appetizers.
Improv cocktail evening
The Angevine Improvisation League (LIMA) invites itself to Giffard for your great pleasure. With family or friends, come and enjoy an improv cocktail evening in the company of LIMA all while enjoying a few cocktails in the Menthe-Pastille Space.
